We actually only have one version of our software. We do not have a Demo version and a Registered version. We have one program that operates in two different “modes”.
Demo Mode -vs- Registered Mode
RealCart will run in Demo mode anytime a key file is not present. If a valid key file for your web site exists in the cart folder on your web server then the on-line shopping cart will run in Registered mode instead of Demo mode.

3 Item Limit
RealCart allows you to enter an unlimited number of items in your on-line store. There is no limit on the number of products or departments you can add to RealCart. Even in Demonstration mode RealCart allows you to add as many products to your on-line store as you want.
In Demonstration mode, however, you as well as your customers may not purchase more than 3 items at a time. You may publish all of your products no matter how large your store is. Your customers will be able to browse your entire product line. He or she will not be able to Add to Cart more than three times before they get a warning message that says:
To remove this warning you must have a valid key file loaded in the shopping cart’s codebase folder on your web server.

Only 2 Options
Although RealCart is capable of unlimited options per product there is a limit in Demo mode when these products are added to your shopping cart. RealCart will only recognize the first two options a product has when it is added to cart. (Product options are described in detail here)
We can see how it might be cumbersome for the web developer who is constantly having to choose choices to test order in the cart prior to making the site live. For testing purposes we recommend that you create a test product that you will later remove that either has no choices available or just has one or two.

1 Month to try it out
RealCart is completely functional other than the two restrictions outlined above. If you do not have a valid key file on your PC then RealCart will simply stop working after 30 days.
Your product information, store information and all of the other work you have put into RealCart is still there and can be accessed again once you obtain a key file. Check out our on-line store for the latest pricing or to buy a key file.
