When I try to preview an image it won’t display or my computer crashes. Why does it do this?

Answer: If you try to preview images in the product wizard image tab and the program either doesn’t preview the image or crashes then you are probably trying to use progressive JPG files. (These files do not work in older versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. They don’t work in RealCart either.)

To solve this problem simply save the file again as a baseline JPG instead of a progressive JPG. In Adobe PhotoShop just follow these steps:
  • Open PhotoShop
  • Open the JPG image that will not display in the RealCart™ image preview.
  • Click File / Save a Copy... or File / Save as....
  • Type in a new filename and click Save.
  • On the JPEG Options dialog, choose one of the “baseline” choices under the Format Types section.
  • Click OK.
You can use the newly saved image in RealCart™ with no problem. For more info on using images in RealCart™ see the help file for the image tab on the product wizard by clicking the help button in the lower left hand corner of the dialog.
