Answer:
No. You dont. When you publish your store RealCart will ask you if you want to rebuild all of your pages.
Select No and the shopping cart program will not rebuild and republish all of your stores pages. When you begin the publishing procedure only the newer checkout, product, department and catalog pages will be published. Depending on your settings RealCart may also try to install a CGI script or executable.
NOTE: If you click Finish on the toolbar and the program does not ask you if you want to rebuild all of your pages or not you can reset this prompt by following these steps:
- Start RealCart.
- Select Options from the Tools menu.
- Click on the Prompts tab.
- Clear the checkbox next to When rebuilding all Store pages.
- Click OK.
- To retry publishing click the Finish button on the toolbar and then just say No when asked if you want to rebuild all pages.
You can now publish your stores newest pages only by clicking the Finish button and just saying No when asked if you want to rebuild all of your pages. Click Next... and the program will then get a listing of files on the server, compare these filess date stamps with those of the files on your hard drive and then publish only the files that are newer to your web site. Click Publish to begin publishing your store on your web site.
